There's nothing quite so perfect as the combination of fresh coffee and a perfectly-prepared crepe. And lucky for us, when we're looking to satisfy the craving we need not look any farther than Cupz N' Crepes in Ahwatukee. The south Phoenix eatery specializes in made-to-order crepes of both the sweet and savory variety filled with fresh meats, veggies and fruits. We particularly enjoy the The Nat, a unique buffalo-style crepe with chicken, hot sauce and blue cheese crumbles. For those looking for more traditional fare they have a selection of Nutella crepes as well as the Paris street-food classic: sugar and lemon juice. They also offer a breakfast menu and an assortment of salads including a classic chicken Caesar and a cranberry spinach salad with poppy seed dressing. Aside from the wallet-friendly eats they also boast some of the Valley's best coffee. Thanks to the free Wi-Fi, we may never have to leave.
We've spent the last year in the laboratory putting Phoenix under the microscope to reveal hundreds of specimens of the best culture, outdoor adventures, shopping, dining, and nightlife the city has t... More »

You know that connection between smell and memory? Ever since my first taste of Parisian street food, in college, the aroma of crepes has perked me up as thoroughly as any cup of espresso. That taste was hard-earned. I schlepped a heavy suitcase... More »
I ventured to Cupz 'n' Crepes in the hopes of A) finding a good crepe place and B) eating some place different. I more or less found it here.
The place is small and cozy, but when I walked in I saw a "Please seat yourself" sign which I don't consider a good omen, you can get overlooked by the staff. This is certainly what happened to me. I wasn't greeted when I entered ,in fact it was about 10 minutes before anyone came to speak with me. I ordered my food and proceeded to wait about 45 minutes for a bacon, egg, and cheese crepe.
They did bring out the coffee right away. I was expecting a nice bold coffee since the "Cupz" part of the name implies a coffee house. The coffee was weak and closer to a Folger's roast than something that should be served at a one-off place like this. I didn't drink much of it.
The crepe was pretty good, if a little thick. All of the ingredients were of good quality, but I found it odd that the bacon was put in the crepe in strips instead of being chopped or crumbled. It made eating a little difficult. The ingredients were also not very evenly distributed. The majority of the first half of my crepe experience was crepe and egg and the bacon that I pulled out and layered with it. I noted that there wasn't too much cheese in it, however I found that it was all in a pile at the back of the crepe. I had ordered feta in the crepe which, while delicious, I did not want to eat all of in one big mouthful at the end of my meal.
I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 2 because I would give it a second go. I think that that sweet crepes would be very good, and probably the lunch crepes as well. Next time I'll be ordering a little something sweet and an espresso drink instead of the lack lustre coffee I had on this visit.
This place serves delicious crepes and coffee. Nice, family-owned place.
Crepes and coffee go together like peanut butter and jelly, David Lee Roth and Van Halen, or vodka and Red Bull. Without one, the other is lonely and incomplete. Thankfully, Cupz N' Crepes is keeping the coffee-and-crepe team together at its Paris-inspired shop in Ahwatukee. Dig into a delicate crepe packed full of sweet Nutella and ripe bananas or the savory Veggie Delight, filled with spinach, tomatoes, and goat cheese. The coffee is always fresh and the bold espresso drinks are expertly... More »
We're suckers for a good crêpe. Light and eggy, savory or sweet, the prospects of grabbing a cuppa joe with a crêpe on the side have us salivating just thinking about it. Lucky for us, at Cupz N' Crepes each part of that dynamic duo stands on its own. The drip coffee is rich and bold, and the fully stocked coffee bar serves up all your favorite espresso-based treats. And the crêpes are just as varied and delicious, whether they're packed with bananas and nutella or eggs and... More »
