Cup O’ Karma in Mesa is one such place, a community café for a cause run by The National Advocacy & Training Network (NATN), a human rights organization. Proceeds from the sales at this café go to advance the mission of NATN – addressing the health, safety, economic, and social justice issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and substance abuse through education, public awareness, and direct services. That includes providing on-the-job training opportunities to women in need. And you don’t just get a warm, fuzzy feeling from being a customer there; you can also walk away with one of the best iced teas in town. While the coffee at Cup O' Karma is decent, there are three things for which this place is better known. First, the iced teas are to die for.
