Cultivate is officially a student dining hall, located in the new Elm Hall dormitory, but community members are welcome at this sit-down restaurant. Smart eaters will accept the invitation: Although the restaurant's booze-free, it's otherwise indistinguishable from a trendy small plates spot downtown (except that here, the housemade pastrami's better.) How trendy? The mac's served in cast iron pans, the trifles are presented in tiny glass jars and pork belly's glazed in ginger beer and served on a steamed bun.
