Notably, Cucina Colore's happy hour features the small plates popular in Venice called cicchetti. And while the lineup of cicchetti here might include some familiar happy hour fare, including bruschetta and chicken wings, it also has more adventurous choices, such as asparagus tartufo with truffled egg salad and speck, and salmon scapece with watermelon, avocado and tomato. I eat here at least once a month with my family or if I want a quiet, intimate dinner with my wife. Cucina is just that, it's like eating a well served meal in the warmth of your own kitchen. Certainly one of the best offerings in Denver.
