By any other name -- say Coral Sky, MARS, Sound Advice, the Snuggles Fabric Softener Bear Arena -- this gigantic outdoor shed now called the Cruzan Amphitheatre would still sound as sweet. However, unlike the big, open-air venues up north, ours is available year-round. Music seems to sound better out-of-doors, and Cruzan provides plenty of room to mill about on a giant manicured hillside lawn, plus massive video screens so concertgoers won't miss anything. Among the acts that have played there: Peter Gabriel, Motley Crue, Radiohead, and Pearl Jam. Who can beat that? Sure, the overpriced concessions aren’t the most rock 'n' roll aspect of this experience, but Cruzan is our shed, and we can go see a show there in the middle of December, so nyah-nyah-nyah.

This venue has tons of space for fans to see their favorite bands. Warped Tour was here and it was the perfect place with several stages so different bands could play at once.
I saw No Doubt here. This was my first in a big outdoor amphitheater. It was a good show but I felt disconnected from the show due to being far away from the stage. I'm so used to smaller venues. But nevertheless still a great show, fun times and I got to meet The Sounds. So that totally over ruled the being far from the stage.
