Crow's renowned for its lasagna, but the popular dish -- made with canned tomatoes so it's always on the menu -- doesn't really represent this lower Queen Anne restaurant's leaning. The kitchen at this swanky, dimly-lit counterpart to Betty, at the top of the hill, tends to prefer fresh, seasonal ingredients, and uses them to especially lovely effect in salads and side dishes. A great stop before or after a Seattle Center event, Crow offers a smart and affordable wine list.
I've never had a bad time or a bad dish from the Crow. Combine their $20/bottle Tuesdays with their ever-changing dessert menu for a dose of soul enrichment.
Great nuevo-american cuisine, and very reasonable!
Great drinks!!
