Don't expect to see regular ol' crepes when you walk into the Chateau Plaza restaurant. The owners, former Dallas Mavericks player Didier Ilunga-Mbenga and Paris native Fatoumata Ndiaye, serve Western France-style crepes made from organic buckwheat to maintain consistency. The Creperie du Chateau also hosts a jazz brunch on every last Sunday of the month offering fresh strawberry waffles, eggs Benedict and, of course, build-your-own crepes. Their regular menu features items like bruschetta, Tabouleh salad, quiche Florentine and the De la Mar crepe -- sautéed shrimp and scallops with mushrooms, tomatoes, artichokes, onions and zucchini in a white wine garlic sauce.
