Cowboys is a supermarket-sized country and Western bar, live music venue and honky-tonk, and it's designed to accommodate large crowds. Good thing, because it's located less than two miles south of Cowboys Stadium, The Ballpark in Arlington and Six Flags Over Texas. That means the place attracts many post-gamers and out-of-towners looking to experience a small slice of Texas. The bar comes complete with cowboys and cowgirls, boot scootin' and beer drinkin' and, naturally, a mechanical bull. There's a large stage in front of the huge dance floor located in the center of the club -- it's usually filled with folks two-stepping and kicking up their boots. And there are plenty of pool tables for wallflowers. Enormous lava lamps on the counter add a cool vibe to a few of the bars. More than half a dozen bars and beer stands are scattered throughout the venue. There's plenty of parking out front.
