Description

This café and brewpub in northern Tequesta makes just about everything from scratch, from its awesome gator fritters to its brewed-in-house beers. Owners Jim and Lisa Hill serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the tiny, dimly-lit dining room, and everything we've tasted has been outstanding. Slow-braised lamb shank is served over German-style spaeztle and melting root vegetables; paella and enchiladas are authentic and full of bold flavors. Price are dirt cheap, too, for food this well-prepared. And brewmaster Matt Webster's quality beers have won a host of awards recently, including a gold medal at the 2009 Florida Beer Championships. Reservations recommended.
