Densely toothsome with just a hint of fennel, it goes perfectly with the accompanying slaw of thick strips of red cabbage and a cranberry-apple crisp that continues the sweet-tart theme. Great poetry reading series every other Friday called Son of a Pony- featuring the likes of Anne Waldman.
Some great programming here, just be aware that the space is small, narrow, so make reservations ahead of time, and get there early, so you're not too close or too far from the stage. But, always great sound and low-key vibe.
