Denver is a beer town, no doubt about it. From large distributors to craft perfectionists, Denver is loaded with options for beer enthusiasts. Perhaps that's why Denver is host to the annual Great American Beer Festival. And perhaps that's why the Coors headquarters are in Golden. Oh, snap! All beer snobbery aside, we admit that no tour of the many breweries of Colorado would be complete with out a visit to the Coors Brewing Company Visitors Center facilities. The tour includes a 45-minute guided stroll through massive rooms where the malting, brewing and packaging processes take place for the beer behemoth. If you're so inclined, a sampling of Coors products is also available. Tours happen continuously on a first-come, first-served basis.
