I don't know why this place keeps being featured. The owner of this store is rude and cantankerous and her helpers are unhelpful to say the least. (One of my friends bought something in there for her mother and was a penny short and they refused to sell it to her! Luckily I had one floating in the bottom of my purse.) Half the stuff in there is rusted and old and the other half is overpriced. You're better off going to the Sur La Table outlet in Berkeley.

Cookin' is an overstuffed cookware anomaly. Filled with funky latte bowls, 1970s Time/Life cookbooks, vintage Le Creuset, and copper pots just like your mom used to use, this is a great place to rummage away an afternoon.
