Description

For thirsty souls in need of redemption from the sin of drinking mediocre beer, salvation can be found within the hallowed walls of Congregation Ale House. With an ever-changing menu of more than 30 draft brews, patrons have their choice of refreshments from Belgium, Germany and the finest craft makers in the USA. The stained-glass windows adorning the walls give the joint the vibe of a 16th-century cathedral, and the way folks huddle around the tall wooden tables lends credence to the name congregation. As a bonus, the comely young waitresses are clad in Catholic-school uniforms: plaid skirts (a demure length, of course) and knee-high stockings. If hard liquor's your game, you'll want to try an Elijah's Rye. Made with with Old Overholt Whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters and a cherry, it's deliciously intoxicating.
