Just getting to the Columbia Tower Club is daunting. Located on the top floor of Seattle's tallest building, the club is only accessible for those with a membership. But should you be lucky enough to be invited to a private party, know that it takes two elevators to reach the doorman. Once there, you'll notice that, for a posh club, Tower is surprisingly unpretentious. Yes, the mandatory-tie rule was only ditched recently, but the menu includes build-your-own-burgers and one-dollar wine during happy hour. There are also refinements, like an extensive wine selection and a seared duck sandwich with an optional duck egg on top. And, since it's on the 76th floor, you're guaranteed the best views in the city, even in the club's bathrooms.
