Description
The atmosphere at Collins Pub, all dark woodwork and right angles, is upscale but homey. So is the food: the artichoke, spinach, and fresh Dungeness crab dip is on the creamy side, but with a hint of spice to kick it up a little, an effect redoubled by garlicky toast with melted-on Parmesan. To wash down all those flavors, Collins has one of the best beer selections you'll find in the downtown area. And to add to the place's cosmopolitan feel, there's frequently live jazz music on weekend nights.
