Dancing at the Aztec-themed Club Safari is an experience in immersion:
Located on the first floor of the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott, the club is massive - 5,000 square feet - and filled with laser lights, an incredible sound system, and plenty of background video remixes. Those videos are shown from all directions on 11 televisions and two ten-foot projection screens, and flair bartender Ron Husted has been entertaining and inebriating the crowd for the past 11 years. If you ever need to dance wildly and distractedly during the weekend's after hours, Club Safari is the place to do it. There's a standard ladies' night every Saturday - women get in free all night, from 9p.m. to 3a.m., and their well drinks cost zilch. But Freestyle Fridays is the real gem: '80s freestyle is spun until midnight, and entry is free for everyone, all night. Sundays are "in the biz" nights, and if you show proof of employment, you'll get a discount at the bar.
Club Safari has also carved out a niche for itself as a place to, as they describe it, have a "not-so normal private party" - you can have an engagement party here, but you can also have your bar mitzvah. Which is to say: Whether you need thumping bass or not, Club Safari has got you covered.
