Clever Bottle seems specifically designed for dates: most of its seating is built for two, the lighting is dim but not so much that you have to squint, and the decor is classic, minimalist and intimate. You could walk past and miss it, as it doesn't glare as loudly or have the same neon signage as its Belltown neighbors. There's a diverse, seasonal wine list, an impressive array of craft cocktails and a small, mostly local rotation of beer. The menu - which sources ingredients from the nearby Pike Place Market - is similarly date-friendly, composed mostly of shared items like spiced nuts, meat and cheese plates, and small desserts.
