Description

If it's the soft-shell crab season, go for it: two to a plate, crunchy and light, sided with shoestring fries. Also exceptional are an appetizer of raw Atlantic salmon done up to mimic pastrami (the deception nearly succeeds), New England clam chowder with a phantom taste of cumin, and the Down East lobster rollatail and claw meat with just enough chopped celery, mayo, and chives, and a better bun than you'll find at the lobster pounds of Maine.
