Chef Didier Viriot serves homey Continental-inspired fare reflected through the prism of elegant presentation in an intimate setting of a smattering of tables. But it can get even more intimate. The restaurant also offers diners the opportunity to sit at the chef?s table in the kitchen. There, 15-17 guests are at the gustatory whim of the chef and his staff. Those customers with a less adventurous spirit can select from a menu that includes appetizers like the crab fingers Provencal with garlic butter sauce and seared foie gras with grappa risotto. Among the entrées are diver scallops and steak frites. Chef Viriot offers something decidedly un-European -- an Early Bird menu. The three-course meal costs those who prefer to dine in the late afternoon $19.95. Don?t expect any wine-pairing suggestions. The Citrus is BYOB with a corkage fee of seven bucks.
