It seems folks from all walks of life embrace the Circle: truckers, ramblers, roadside-food fanatics, neighborhood folks. And no wonder: The place has a warm truck-stop feel to it. The yellow and red marquee standing proud sentinel over a kitchen of greasy-spoon fare, the faux wood paneling and the drop-down tile ceiling only add to this. It's this attraction that has earned some regulars counter stools emblazoned with metal nameplates. From these, they gulp down chicken-fried steaks and blood-pumping diner breakfasts. Unfortunately, whatever sense of transition and grub it may have stops at the hours of operation. The diner isn't open 24/7. Circle doesn't even keep dinner hours on weekdays, much less early-bird dinner weekends. Get there early and get the bacon. The regulars say it's always perfect.
