As if the double-entendre name doesn't give it all away. But even the burgers aren't just ground chuck - we're talking sirloin. Not to mention house-aged and hand-cut prime rib, filet, and porterhouse in addition to Southwestern-style chicken and stuffed shrimp. An all-you-can-masticate salad bar is as endangered as manatees and just as much of a South Florida delight.
I have been coming to this place for over 13 years and have my consistent favorites. Great staff and accomodating facilities for buiness lunches and small parties. Prime Rib medium rare, fresh dolphin, tuna and now even salmon. Friday and Saturday nights there is live music that keeps the place jumping well into the night.
There's no need to settle for cafeteria-style early-bird specials, with their mystery meats and soggy, overcooked vegetables, when you can have something more substantial prepared with a little more care. Chuck's, a Fort Lauderdale mainstay for years (with locations in Plantation and Boca Raton as well), offers half a dozen dinners that don't make you feel like you're scrimping.
