The décor is best described as "clubby," a place where powerful men feel at home, and women feel as though they're in a club for powerful men. While the motto is Famous for Prime Steaks and Fresh Seafood, most diners seem to order the steaks. Can't blame them, as the beef is prime, Midwestern, corn-fed, and dry-aged -- in other words, rich, flavorful, and tender. Offerings include New York strip, prime rib, porterhouse, filet mignon, and a trio of thick double lamb chops, broiled to succulence and sided by kelly-green mint jelly that is so old-fashioned and so delicious -- same is true of the baked Alaska dessert, and, in fact, much of Christy's cuisine. Every entrée is preceded by a generous plate of one of the most celebrated caesar salads in town (yet some will find it too potently cheesy) and accompanied with a baked potato and vegetables. Christy's isn't cheap, but it gives a lot of good food for the money, and service is excellent. That seems to be enough for most people, as this Gables landmark, in existence for 23 years, still attracts as many enthusiasts as ever -- the place consistently draws an overflow crowd on weekends.

Nice, clean Sports bar that has great food. My Favorite is the Steak sandwich. Good salads. Wings are very popular. Have them grilled or fried. A nice place to relax and be with friends.
A great caesar salad is a dish of rare beauty. A great free caesar salad is so rare and beauteous you want to fall to your knees and thank Goddess (or Caesar Cardini, who invented the thing). Actually the caesar salad at this old-timey Coral Gables steakhouse isn't exactly free; it comes with the price of your entrée (which will range from $20 to $36), preferably a thick, juicy, blood-rare slab of aged Midwestern beef, as tender as a lover's caress and tasty as a lover's ... well, you...
