The beautiful, or at least beautifully dressed, people throw it down at China Club, a 20-year-old establishment with three floors, multiple DJs, and yards of red velvet complimenting dark wood. Open four days a week, the venue always has one spinning Latin tunes each night, with the other floors featuring R&B or House. Cover varies. Wear your fine threads, as miscreants sporting hats, unfashionable boots and sneakers will not make it through the door. For those who care, China Club has seen the error of its ways and axed the male strip show, which featured the most horrifyingly harry asses in NYC.
