Chicago City Limits moved to New York in 1979 and has since become the grand old man of comedy revues. They are, in fact, the longest-running show in town, but they're also mostly improv, so after all these years you still never know exactly what you're going to get, though you can count on seeing a well-produced show put on by seasoned performers for a reasonable price. CCL also has classes and workshops, and shows funny short films on the first Sunday of every month.
