Way down toward the river, past the run-of-the-mill boîtes that pop up in all of the gay guidebooks, Chi Chiz provides an upbeat hangout filled with people of color and their admirers, all lifting their slushie-type drinks (with alcohol, naturally) to the back of the room for pool, card games, and interpersonal relations.
