Located on a tree-lined street in suburban Humble, Chez Nous is one of Houston's top French restaurants. The atmosphere is a French tug-of-war between formality and informality, and you can dress either way. Founded by French chef Gerard Brach, the restaurant is now in the capable hands of French-trained chef Stacy Crowe-Simonson.

The chateaubriand ($62) at Chez Nous (217 South Avenue G, Humble, 281-446-6717) is probably the best piece of meat in town. It's a USDA Prime, dry-aged, large-enough-for-two filet of beef, so tender that no knife is required. Because the meat's... More »
Domaine de Mourchon is a Côtes du Rhône village red with an inky color and the sort of concentrated fruit and intense flavor you'd expect from a more expensive Rhône, like a Châteauneuf-du-Pape or a Gigondas. Yet a bottle of the 2000 vintage... More »
If you’re looking to celebrate your anniversary, birthday, or another special occasion, or are just in the mood to eat at an extremely nice restaurant, then make reservations and head to Chez Nous.
Chez Nous is one of the finest dining experiences in Humble, with delicious French cuisine ready for you to enjoy. Chef Stacy Crowe-Simonson takes special care of each meal to ensure that it is perfect when it reaches your table. While the menu is expensive, the experience is divine, so well worth your time when you’re ready for the expense.
Chez Nous is not a great restaurant for children, so grab a sitter the night you decide to go. The restaurant for the most part foregoes the usual pretentious nature that you can find at most French restaurants, although the maitre'd can display a flair of condescension if he deems a guest's request is beneath his station. However, the staff is generally unassuming and ready to answer any questions and be of any service.
My favorite is the Foie Gras, the Rack of Lamb, the Pepper steak, the fantastic Souffles. The service is very attentive and the prices are quite reasonablein considering the overall value. We like to go there for special occasions or no occasions at all. They are not easy to find so call for directions.
Try their Chef's Table for the classic French Cuisine experience... wonderful
