Description

Depending on where your sympathies lie, a window display of rosewood-colored ducks, hooked through the neck, and haunches of bubbly-skinned pork could be a gruesome spectacle or a tantalizing reminder of why you love eating in San Francisco. The tables at this Cantonese barbecue spot are filled with people eating simple stir-fries from the steam table and made-to-order noodle dishes, but most of the customers order a few pounds of meat and leave. Cheung Hing has one of the city's best roast ducks, evenly lacquered in caramelized sugars, soy, and glistening fat.
