Description

While crowds of tourists line up for the world-famous House of Nanking, you can enjoy equally tasty Chinese-American food at its less publicized neighbor. This nondescript family-run place serves classics like potstickers, egg drop soup, and mu shu chicken as well as less familiar fare like sesame scallops, honey-chile eggplant, and peanut-butter prawns (a local favorite), all of it freshly prepared and delicious. The mood is relaxed, the service is acerbic in the great Chinatown tradition, and the portions are big and (beware!) spicy. Cash only.
