One of my favorite places to go with a large group of friends or family. The food is always excellent, it's been there forever, and you're never disappointed. It doesn't matter if you're going for lunch or dinner, it's just always excellent. Excellent food, excellent service, great wine list. I have a favorite dish that I hope they put back on the menu, because right now I have to order it 24-hours in advance. They do this tempura-style whole catfish and it is ridiculous. It's like something I can think about and want the next day. They took it off the menu, and I was informed by the owner that if I really want it, and we're all coming in and I'm going to place a lot of orders, that I just need to give them 24 hours and they'll work it out. But it is well worth waiting for them to put it back on the menu because it's awesome. Their sushi is amazing, all their fish dishes are spectacular. It's really, really good, clean, fresh food. The infused vodka is deadly. They make fresh mint tea that I try to think is going to counter the excessive amounts of vodka that I've drunk but it never works out, I'm like, "I think I need a taxi!" Since I first came to the states, I probably would go here once a week with my family and my friends, and it's so cute, because whenever we're indecisive about where to go, we all still look at each other and say, "Let's go to Chaya." It's a no-brainer.

This place is amazing! They have a full menu, but hit the sushi, it IS their strong point. And they have a blueberry sparkling sake, sounds weird, we ordered it on accident but it's amazing!
