Those who've lived in the 'hood for a while may remember the days when the space just off Cleveland and Ford Parkway was just another late-night Perkins hangout. These days the space, now doubled, serves as a sort of super-sized version of the original South Minneapolis Chatterbox, with the same karaoke, the same trivia, the same food and drinks and board games and vintage video games in front of comfy old sofas, but quadrupled and with better (read: less fried food smell) ventilation.

All the Chatterbox Pubs are a great, interactive, childhood remembering, good time. Great for people in their 20s-30s.

I'm a big fan of the Build-Your-Own Mac and Cheese. They also have Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and a slew of board games. Karaoke is also great on Sunday and Monday nights.
