From the divey vibe to the unpretentious neighborhood clientele, Changes is a far cry from the Capitol Hill scene. Wallingford's only gay bar has been in operation for more than 20 years and, despite the name, has done its best to stay the same. And though a happy hour stretching from noon to 8 p.m. every day might seem like plenty of value, the range of nightly specials aren't to be forgotten - including $1.25 beer on Tuesday, free pool and darts on Saturday, and karaoke three nights a week.
