Description

Chan:n goes for a Westernized, fusion version of Korean food, which is probably to keep from scaring off Americans. Instead, it offers a less than authentic Korean cuisine that Korean food lovers should avoid. The food offers light, clean flavors—especially in the cold buckwheat noodle salad—but is lacking a punch of spice. The jewel-box space is beautiful, but with tiny portions, Cha:n would serve better as a bar with small plates to accompany a liquid lunch.
