The drinks are the thing here, less so the food, though the fried calamari and the Cajun shrimp are popular.

We love Cha Cha Cha, but not for the reasons you'd expect. The food at this location is better than what's served at the restaurant's Mission District outpost, but the service is similarly spotty, the din is equally deafening, and the Afro-Cuban décor is even louder. cha cha cha is probably my favorite (atmosphere-wise) restaurant in sf. i smiled just thinking about it. it is a caribbean tapas menu but i always ended up more full than i intended. the sangria is ridiculously great - you MUST get it. mmm...i want some fried potatoes. now. it's located in the haight, so obviously, the people are fantastic. i miss sf just thinking about it.
