Description
Although Celebrity Sports Center closed in 1994 after a 34-year run on Colorado Boulevard, its memory lives on through a number of memorial sites on the Internet. And in August 2011, its name was resurrected at the 50,000-square-foot Celebrity Lanes in Centennial. Two years in the works, this new Celebrity will be a family entertainment center that houses a number of venues under one roof. For starters, there will be the Altitude Sports Grill & Taphouse, with forty beers on tap, including a number of Colorado craft beers. Then there's Rocky's Arcade and the Soft Play game room; in homage to the original, a section will hold vintage arcade games, such as Galaga and Pac-Man. The venue also sports 32 regular lanes and two four-lane VIP suites themed after the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets.
