Sandwiches, salads and sweets prevail at this Preston-Royal shop, one of several area outposts of the brand overseen by Mark Menking, president of Celebrity Café & Bakery. The specialty sandwiches include Francis Ray's Cranberry Chicken Salad (chicken, apples, dried cranberries, pecans and celery tossed in honey Dijon and lettuce) and the ham and pineapple cream cheese selection served on cinnamon raisin toast. The salads come with house-made dressings like the signature Jubilee. And then there's the plethora of bakery items. Aside from sheet and round cakes of varying dimensions, customers can choose from an assorted collection of specialty items like hand-decorated iced cookies, petit fours and brownies.
