Description
The inconspicuous, windowless, orange-roofed Cedar Lounge has been an Airline Drive mainstay for nearly 50 years. Former home to legendary white blues musician Joey Long, who passed in 1995, the stage rests deep within the lounge's dark interior. In front is a dance floor, which occupies a healthy piece of the medium-sized bar's real estate, and the trio of pool tables in the back are frequented by regulars taking drags on cigarettes and often running the table. The beers are cold and cheap, the service is old-fashioned, and anyone spending any length of time here is bound to come away with a story or two.
