Description

When it comes to authentic deli fare, Cecil's is the place, from the potato latkes on the griddle to the celery soda in the refrigerator case. Cecil & Faye Glickman established the delicatessen in 1949 (they later added the family-friendly restaurant in back) and the operation is still old-school enough to serve chopped liver. The hot pastrami on rye is divine and the Reubens are even better, which would make them, well, one of the holiest foods around.
