Description

From the owners of longtime Valley chain Sacks the Art of Sandwicherie comes a cozy, second-story neighborhood bistro that is likely to be an Arcadia fixture for years to come. The Mediterranean- and Italian-inspired pasta dishes and wood-fired oven pizzas (try the Provence chicken and Tuscan pies) are the big winners at Caves and Ives, with the salads and flatbreads not quite as pleasing. For starters, you can't go wrong with the bowl of stellar white clams de braise. In nice weather, the inviting patio, overlooking busy Indian School Road, with a view of Camelback Mountain in the distance, offers some of the best al fresco dining in Phoenix.
