Upon entering this fish shack, customers used to be greeted by a tank of their meal swimming. While no more, the fish is still fresh and the line to get said catch is still long. Fans of Catfish Connection will tell you that the only way to shorten the wait is to call in your order (it's only takeout here) beforehand. Do so as early as possible. And bring cash. Plastic isn't accepted. The menu is brief, concentrating on what the cooks do best: doling out large portions of fried catfish that turn almost every customer into an addict. Included in the Connection's restrictions is the stipulation that customers cannot choose their sides. Everything comes with bread, fries and a jalapeño. You've been warned.
