Description

Located at the intersection of South Lamar and Corinth streets, Catfish Blues sits just a mile south of downtown Dallas. Its hours of operation are a bit tricky. It's closed Mondays and Sundays and is only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Its (somewhat) daily specials can be anything from meatloaf to Caribbean chicken to catfish, and the most popular menu items tend to be the catfish (fried or blackened), shrimp po-boys and gumbo. Catfish Blues features live music every Friday and Saturday night, often blues and occasionally R&B. On those live-music nights when the lot gets full, don't be discouraged, because there's additional parking at Cockrell Road and Lamar Street.
