Pleasant, artsy eatery that serves mostly Italian, French, and Mediterranean-influenced soups, sandwiches, and salads. Try the Europa (with marinated artichoke hearts) or the Italian (with salami, ham and pesto), and you can’t go wrong. And the duo of hummus dip and olive tapenade, served with pita triangles, is delish as a starter. The place also serves a nice selection of wine and beer, and is happy to do a wine flight for you if you want. Live music some nights. A very civilized spot in the heart of Roosevelt’s ever-developing arts district.

  • 2010 | Best Bloody Mary

During our probably-too-long drinking career, the bloody Mary had ranked near the bottom of our desired beverage list, hovering somewhere around a Smoker's Phlegm (Jägermeister and mayonnaise) in the gross department. That's until we hit up... More >

I have not eaten here yet, but believe me, it's on my list! I stopped in for a drink and took a look at the menu while I was at the bar. WOW this place looks sooooo goood I'm defiantly going to have to go back now for something more than just a drink!

While this place fills up quickly on a First Friday, I prefer swinging by for lunch or a casual drink. They have a handful of veg-friendly sandwich options, which is refreshing after being used to seeing one vegetarian sandwich on most menus. My favorite part about this place? They have lambic frambois on tap.

This place has meticulously tasty salads and sandwiches, and usually has a beer on special for $2. The last time we were there, a lounge band showed up for a little live music sesh. How can you beat that?
