Description

The Wall Street location of this national chain makes no bones about who its clientele is. It's actually located in an old bank building, complete with an impressively hefty bank vault door. There is a certain masculine vibe about this place; it's absolutely huge, fitting more than 400 people, and its décor screams old-world money with rich red carpet, leather furniture, white tablecloths and even oil portraits of wealthy historical figures from New York City's past. The menu shares this ethos, consisting mostly of mammoth cuts of meat like the 24 oz. dry-aged porterhouse steak and the double-cut lamb rib chops. The indulgences don't stop there; also on the menu is a seared tenderloin and butter poached lobster combo, as well as lobster and crab-stuffed shrimp. Let's hope you have a company credit card because this place isn't cheap. The wine list is appropriately massive, featuring more than 350 different wines from around the world.—Keith Wagstaff
