Cap City Tavern is the kind of neighborhood joint that every neighborhood wishes it had. In this case, though, the lucky beneficiary is the Golden Triangle neighborhood, where Cap City is hopping at lunch, happy hour, dinner and beyond, seven days a week. There are happy-hour deals and food specials, but the standard menu is draw enough for regulars, boasting everything from rib-eye steaks to Greek dishes. There's a nice variety of appetizers, burgers and pizza, too, along with comfort foods such as macaroni and cheese, here made with Gruyere and truffle oil. You can work off that meal at one of Cap City's pool tables -- though most of the crowd is content to watch the action on the big screens, which blast sports during game time.
