    We were as excited as anyone else about the early 2000s boomlet in farmers' markets all over Houston. Sadly, each of them disappointed us.     Inner Loopers have been patting themselves heartily on the back lately for bringing back "roadside" produce stands at various farmers' markets. Although our hats are off to the boom in homegrown tomatoes, we'd like to give props to the giant farmers' market (inside the Loop) that's been offering a tremendous selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, vinegars and even milk and eggs all along. The real bargains are way in the back, where the growers have the discount stuff fresh off the trucks.     Lots of veggies, and you don't have to buy too much like in the places behind Canino's. Good for those who aren't cooking for lot's of people. Prices are good compared to the normal prices at the grocery. No organic produce...
