Opened in May 2009, Campus Pub is one of a handful of late-night establishments helping to rejuvenate the Fry Street area. Across the street from the University of North Texas, the bar's traditional pub-style aesthetic provides a respite from the bustle of the strip-that is, depending on where you sit. Though the pub has its own bar and seating, it shares an adjoining seating room with Pita Pit - a fast, Subway-style pita/wrap joint. Because Pita Pit remains open until 3 a.m., it's a natural post-last-call stop for Campus Pub patrons. The pub features live shows, DJs and has a reputation for its beer specials, offering $2 pints and $8 pitchers of domestic drafts all day, every day.
