Cafe Options

Cafe Options is a great weekday breakfast and lunch spot, bright and cheerful if you want to eat inside, efficient and quick if you need food to go. Everything's homemade, from the pastries to the mayonnaise on the turkey sandwich; soups are made from scratch daily, and there are always specials. But Cafe Options doesn't just serve good food; it does good, because it's a project of Work Options for Women, a nonprofit that combats homelessness and poverty by providing women with the skills they need to have successful careers in the food industry. Cafe Options, which operates under the watchful eye of chef Craig Dixon, is part of their training program. For both intentions and execution, Cafe Options gets an A-plus.
