Originally a bakery, Nola is now a restaurant run by French-trained chef/owner Kevin Warren. His menu as a whole expresses a wide-ranging, global curiosity: There are Asian touches, but also Latin ones, such as the tortilla crab salad. Not so far from classic bistro fare, and definitely worth the ferry ride.
Cafe Nola is owned by a very personable man named Kevin Warren. I had a delightful conversation with him about NW native food and wine. Everything that my three guests and I eat was fantastic and the presentation was equal to the finest dining I've experienced in much larger cities. Cafe Nola was our destination spot after a ferry ride from Seattle and a walk through the village of Windslow; we got the idea after reading the "Best of NorthWest" guidebook.
