A decidedly unhip atmosphere — plain tables and brighter-than-average lighting — and a full menu of Mexican-influenced cafe fare (sandwiches, assorted salads, and breakfast dishes like chorizo and eggs) distinguish this joint from the many other Mission District coffeehouses offering free WiFi. That's right; At Cafe La Taza, the phrase "working lunch" takes on new meaning. Just try not to drip juice from your mango pork sandwich all over your laptop. The coffee is well-made, and the orange juice squeezed fresh daily.
