With free WiFi and jazz bands playing two nights a week, this Haight St. hangout is a place where customers both work and play. Somewhere along the way, they get hungry, and when they do, they grab a bite. Apart from the expected salads, soups, and sandwiches, a few options tilt toward Mediterranean and Latin culinary traditions -- like falafel and a Cuban sandwich made with beef instead of pork.
