While Little Addis Ababa stresses homeland décor over nouveau design, Café Ibex determinedly plays the New World card. Sure, the food is traditional-colorful veggie and meat platters served on (and with) injera, Ethiopia's spongy flatbread that doubles as a dining utensil-but the trappings scream Modern Restaurant Monthly.
